New York and Love Aaj Kal are the two recent movies I had a chance to watch. Both are watchable. New York happened to be slightly better of the two. Kabir Khan excelled himself in NY. With a star cast not many would associate with serious cinema he did a commendable job. This is undoubtedly all the leading actors' best job as well. Irrfan never disappoints me. Imtiaz Ali, on the other hand, was a not quite in his elements with his third venture LAK. One expects better from the maker of Socha Na Tha and Jab We Met. Saif Ali Khan and Deepika did well though. The music in both these films were below average.
